AI/ML Engineer Intern
Spend six months building real AI systems with our engineering team in Indore - from data pipelines and LLM workflows to models that EPC and engineering companies use every day.

About the internship
Kresto helps EPC, infrastructure and engineering companies replace slow, manual work with practical AI. Our systems read project documents, track vendors, draft reports and flag risks before they become delays.
As an AI/ML Engineer Intern you will work alongside our engineers on live client work, not side projects. You will help prepare data, build and evaluate models, wire large language models into real workflows, and ship features that people use.
This is a hands-on internship for students who have already built something with Python and want to see how AI works in production. You will get regular code reviews, a mentor, and ownership of a piece of work you can talk about in interviews.
Who can apply
Final-year students or recent graduates (2025-2027) in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI/ML or related branches. Students from other engineering branches with strong Python and a real ML project are welcome to apply.
What you will do
- Clean, label and analyse engineering and project data from documents, spreadsheets and databases
- Build and evaluate ML models and LLM-based workflows (retrieval, extraction, classification, summarisation)
- Write prompts, evaluation sets and tests to measure accuracy and catch regressions
- Turn working notebooks into reliable Python services and APIs
- Document what you build and present results to the team
What we are looking for
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related field
- Strong Python, with hands-on experience in pandas and NumPy
- Working knowledge of at least one ML library such as scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Solid basics in statistics, linear algebra and model evaluation
- At least one AI/ML project you can show and explain
- Able to work from Indore for the full six months
Nice to have
- —Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings or vector databases
- —Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
- —SQL and basic cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- —Git, FastAPI or Docker
- —Interest in engineering, construction or infrastructure
