Consulting·Full-time·1–3 years
Junior Consultant – Engineering
Join Kresto's consulting team as a Junior Consultant and help EPC, infrastructure, and engineering companies implement practical AI workflow systems. This is a hands-on delivery role — you will work directly on client engagements from day one.
Remote — Global Full-time
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join a small, focused consulting team and do work that matters from your first week. As a Junior Consultant at Kresto, you will work directly on client engagements — analysing workflows, designing AI-powered systems, and supporting implementation across EPC, infrastructure, and engineering environments.
You will not be writing decks that sit in folders. Every engagement produces something that works in the real world: an automated reporting system, a document intelligence workflow, a coordination tool that saves a project team hours every week.
This role is open to candidates from all countries. Fluent English is mandatory. You will work asynchronously with a globally distributed team and directly with clients in Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, and India.
What you will do
- Support end-to-end delivery of AI workflow transformation engagements for EPC and engineering clients
- Conduct workflow audits — mapping current-state processes, identifying inefficiencies, and quantifying improvement opportunities
- Design and document AI workflow solutions tailored to client-specific operations
- Assist with implementation, testing, and handoff of workflow automation systems
- Prepare clear, structured deliverables including process maps, implementation plans, and outcome reports
- Participate in client calls and workshops alongside the Principal Consultant
What we are looking for
- Fluent English is mandatory — written and spoken, at a professional business level. This is non-negotiable.
- 1–3 years of experience in consulting, engineering, project management, or operations roles
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills — you can break down a complex process and explain it clearly
- Comfortable working with tools like Excel, Notion, or similar productivity and documentation platforms
- Curiosity about AI and automation — you do not need to be a developer, but you need to understand what these tools can and cannot do
- Self-directed and able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision
Nice to have
- —Background in EPC, infrastructure, civil engineering, or project-based industries
- —Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, Make, or similar)
- —Exposure to process mapping, lean operations, or workflow design
- —Experience working with international clients or in cross-cultural environments
